The Caller

Waves lap on the shore
I want to jump in the roar
Someone calls me back
I run to my caller
He hugs me like a father
You’re crowned. I love you.
The waves entice others
Do they want to be smothered?
Now I call them back
They can’t see my caller
I try to keep them from water
You’re crowned. I love you.
The darkness pulls them away
Imitating the caller, it betrays
The void is swallowing them
My caller’s love won’t cease
He gives me unending peace.
You’re crowned. I love you.
They’re going to their graves
Let me save them from the waves
Please, they want your peace
Please, they need your peace
Let me save them from the waves
Let me save them, please!
Finally, no one will roam
My caller will bring them home
Waves will be no more
Wrapped in His glory
We will all hear my caller’s voice
You’re crowned. I love you.
This is my first poem that I've published! Like and comment if you enjoyed it!
